No confirmed PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection restock is documented for October 4, 2026. The restock behind the word “today” took place on July 21, 2025, with another US DualSense drop on July 23. Sony’s current collection page notes limited availability at selected retailers, but does not report live stock.
What happened in the reported restock
Tom’s Guide reported that the July 21, 2025 return was selective and varied by market: UK shoppers saw the PS5 Digital Edition bundle, Portal and DualSense listed, while the US drop was limited to the DualSense. The report said a further US DualSense restock followed on July 23. These dates and products describe historical availability, not a current sale or a present-day purchase rule. Tom’s Guide’s restock report.
For that first US controller drop, Tom’s Guide reported that PlayStation Plus was required; it said the later July 23 restock removed that requirement. Neither condition should be assumed to apply to a future sale.
Which products are in the 30th Anniversary Collection?
Sony’s US collection page lists five headline products, all using colors inspired by the original PlayStation: the PS5 Pro bundle, PS5 Digital Edition bundle, standalone DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers, and PlayStation Portal. A restock of one item does not mean the full range is back.

- Open Sony’s PlayStation Direct collection page for the US, or your local PlayStation Direct site if available.
- Check the specific product listing, rather than assuming that a collection page or one returned item means all products are available.
- If Sony directs shoppers to participating retailers, check those retailers’ local listings. Confirm seller, region, stock and any purchase conditions at the time you order.
Sony’s page says availability is limited at selected participating retailers, but it does not verify stock at any particular retailer or confirm a restock on October 4, 2026. Current availability therefore needs to be checked directly with the seller.
