ARC Raiders Expeditions are voluntary progression resets, not account wipes. Under the latest documented rules, departing resets your Raider level, skills, XP, inventory, stash and crafting progress, while certain account unlocks and rewards carry over. The fifth Expedition window ran September 8–29, 2026; it is now paused, with no open departure window as of October 4, 2026. The fifth-cycle Caravan list below is historical, not a confirmed checklist for the redesigned Expeditions.
What resets when you depart on an Expedition?
The official Help Center’s baseline rules say an Expedition resets your Raider’s level, skills, XP, inventory, stash items and crafting progress. Treat it as a reset of ordinary character progression and possessions, not a wipe of every account-level unlock. Caravan contributions are also spent as you commit them to project stages; they are not recoverable. Separately, departure consumes the remaining stash contents under the documented early rules.
Embark later made quest progress an opt-in reset. By the fifth Expedition, players could choose to keep quest progress instead of resetting it. The Help Center article, dated October 30, 2025, predates that change, so its baseline list alone does not describe the later quest option. These are the latest documented rules, not a guarantee of how the redesigned system will work.
What carries over?
The Help Center’s documented carryovers are cosmetics and purchased items, Raider Tokens, Cred, Raider Deck progress, Codex entries, unlocked maps and bonuses earned from previous Expeditions. Quest progress could also be retained under the fifth Expedition’s opt-in reset rules.

Keep permanent account rewards separate from consecutive-departure benefits. Official Expedition announcements describe permanent rewards such as cosmetics, extra stash space and earned bonus skill points. The fifth Expedition announcement set the then-current maximums at 60 total stash spaces from Expeditions and 15 bonus skill points. Those caps and rewards may change with the redesign.
What materials did the fifth Expedition Caravan require?
The item-by-item list below is a community-maintained reference for the fifth Expedition, not an official checklist or a confirmed requirement for the next cycle. Its Loading amounts are Coin-value thresholds rather than fixed item counts. Committed items could not be retrieved.

For Loading, the reference groups ammo, grenades, traps, weapons and weapon mods as Combat Items. Shields, gadgets, utilities, augments and regenerative items count as Survival Items. Provisions include nature, miscellaneous items, trinkets, Old World items and keys. The listed Coin values are the target value for each category, not a quantity of items.
What permanent rewards and temporary benefits can Expeditions grant?
Permanent account rewards
Permanent rewards have included cosmetics, Expedition indicator upgrades, additional stash space and bonus skill points. The fifth-cycle announcement said total Expedition stash space was capped at 60 and bonus skill points at 15 at that time. Eligible participants could also catch up on missed skill points based on stash value. The specific rewards, caps and eligibility rules are cycle-dependent and should not be assumed for the redesigned system.

Historical skill-point examples
Cycle rules have varied. For the third Expedition, announced April 17, 2026, the damage challenge awarded one through five skill points at 5,000, 10,000, 30,000, 50,000 and 100,000 damage, respectively. Its catch-up option used 300,000 Coins of stash value per missing point. Those were third-cycle rules, not a current challenge.
The community-maintained ARC Raiders Wiki’s fifth-cycle reference, accessed October 4, 2026, reports 3,000,000 Coins of stash value for five current-cycle points, plus 300,000 per eligible catch-up point. These figures apply to that cycle’s rules only.

Consecutive-departure benefits
Temporary consecutive benefits have included increased XP gain, Scrappy material yield and repair value. Embark described them as rising with consecutive departures up to three levels. The fifth-cycle announcement said buffs players had already earned would persist during the pause; it did not establish what percentages or rules will apply when Expeditions return.

Yes. For the fifth Expedition, completing the Caravan did not automatically enroll you: you had to sign up during the September 8–29, 2026 window. That cycle had no “Last Call” feature. As of October 4, the fifth window has closed and Expeditions are paused; there is no current departure window. Embark said the pause would last until early 2027 while it works on larger changes, but the return date and redesigned rules have not been established.

Embark also said partial Caravans would be reset and compensated with Ermal Vouchers of equal value. The announcement said vouchers could be used for Ermal offers alongside ARC Parts and firearms trade, or sold for Coin.
Should you prepare for another departure or wait?
There is no opportunity to depart under the fifth-cycle schedule now. When a new window is announced, decide using the rules published for that cycle rather than assuming the old list will return. In particular, weigh the character progression and stash you would give up, any quest-reset choice, the permanent rewards available to you, and whether an existing consecutive buff is worth maintaining. The next window and redesigned rules are not yet established.
