There is no single current “Sony at E3” livestream schedule: PlayStation’s event dates, times and viewing destinations changed each year. This archival guide covers Sony’s documented 2015, 2016 and 2017 E3 programs. For the correct schedule, use the official post for that edition; the links and platform listings below describe historical access, not a promise that a live stream or replay is still available.
How could viewers watch the PlayStation E3 stream?
Sony offered web and video-platform routes as well as console apps in some years, so a PlayStation console was not required. The specific options varied by edition:

The dates and destinations in this table come from Sony’s own year-specific guides: 2015, 2016 and 2017. They are archival details, not current stream instructions.
What time did the Sony E3 conference start?
The main event began at different times in each edition: 6:00 p.m. Pacific on June 15, 2015; 5:30 p.m. Pacific on June 13, 2016; and 5:00 p.m. Pacific on June 12, 2017. Those are the times stated in the respective Sony guides, not a recurring annual start time. If converting one for another time zone, use the date-specific Pacific time and account for daylight saving time where applicable.

How was the LiveCast different from the main showcase?
The conference or showcase was the main event; LiveCast and PlayStation Live From E3 were surrounding programming. Sony’s 2015 guide placed a LiveCast preshow before the conference and additional footage, trailers and interviews the next day. In 2016 and 2017, Sony scheduled multiple days of demos, interviews, trailers and other programming around the main presentation. These schedules should not be merged: each belongs to a particular year.
For 2017, TIME reported that the event streamed from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall and quoted Sony executive Shawn Layden describing the game-focused format: “The crowd will only have to suffer I think in aggregate 90 seconds of me,” he jokes. “And in the middle will be all the games.” The remark referred to that 2017 event, not every PlayStation E3 presentation. Can you still watch the old PlayStation E3 streams?
The historical Sony guides establish where broadcasts were meant to be watched at the time, but they do not establish whether a live link or replay remains accessible today. Treat the destinations as a record of each year’s planned viewing options rather than a guarantee of a working archive. Sony’s post for the relevant year is the schedule authority; its 2015, 2016 and 2017 guides are linked above.
