NetEase’s September 4 launch notes introduced Angela as the season’s new hero, a Fruit of Immortality-themed Battle Pass, Arcade additions and returns, and a broad hero-balance update. These are historical launch details, not a description of the game’s current season or live availability.
When did Marvel Rivals Season 4 launch?
NetEase’s September 4, 2025 launch notes said Season 4 would start September 12, 2025, at 09:00 UTC. The notice estimated maintenance at two to three hours. The update was titled Heart of the Dragon; the launch announcement described Angela joining the fray in the Heart of Heaven.
Who was the new hero?
Angela was the new hero announced for Season 4. The official launch-note text identifies her as a new arrival but does not explicitly state her role, so this article does not independently label her a Vanguard. The launch materials introduced her with Asgardian-themed wording and listed her costumes and bundles among the season’s store content.
What was in the Season 4 Battle Pass?
At launch, NetEase described a Battle Pass themed around the Fruit of Immortality, with 10 all-new sets of heroic costumes. That figure describes the pass announced for the original Season 4 launch; it is not a statement that the pass is currently available. A later official Season 10 patch-notes result in September 2026 references a Season 4 Battle Pass return, but the launch notice and that reference do not establish its present availability or terms.
