Minimum PC requirements for Star Wars: Galactic Racer
The game’s Steam listing and official FAQ publish the same minimum requirements. The FAQ notes that specifications may change.

These are the published minimums, not a guarantee of a particular resolution, graphics preset or frame rate. The 50 GB figure is the listed available-space requirement; the sources do not say whether updates or later content will change the final installed footprint. Steam, Epic Games Store, and the official FAQ provide the current published details.
Are recommended specs available?
Not yet in Epic’s listing: its recommended OS, CPU, memory, GPU and storage fields are all marked “TBC.” That means players cannot use an official recommended tier to estimate performance above the minimum configuration. No official benchmark, resolution target or frame-rate target is published in the cited material.

Will your PC meet the requirements?
Compare your system with every minimum category, paying particular attention to the graphics card and SSD requirement. A machine that meets the listed minimums meets the published entry-level specification, but that alone does not establish how smoothly it will run at your preferred settings.
- Check your Windows version and processor model.
- Confirm you have at least 12 GB RAM.
- Compare your GPU model with one of the three listed options; the AMD entry specifically names 6 GB.
- Make sure an SSD is available and that the drive has 50 GB free.
Release date and platforms
Star Wars: Galactic Racer is scheduled to release October 6, 2026. The official announcement lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC; Epic identifies Windows for its PC listing. Fuse Games is developing the game and Secret Mode is publishing it. See the official announcement and current Steam listing for release information.

Controls and PC setup details
A controller is optional. Epic lists controller support, and the FAQ confirms keyboard-and-mouse support. The FAQ says controller rumble is supported across platforms, but there are currently no plans for wheel, HOTAS/HOSAS, full-haptics or resistance support.
For cross-platform play and friend management or invites, the FAQ says the game uses Epic Online Services. Steam players without the Epic Store installed will be prompted to download the EOS redistributable library, which the FAQ says is required for crossplay. An Epic account is needed to manage non-Steam friends. Steam also lists Denuvo Anti-Tamper and a five-machine activation limit; the FAQ confirms Denuvo on PC. These are current published details and may change. Consult the official FAQ and Steam listing for the latest statements.

Which editions include a PC copy?
The official FAQ says physical Standard and Deluxe editions are for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The physical Collector’s Edition is also available for PC and includes a Steam code. Its announced physical contents are a metal Kor Sarun: Darc X landspeeder model, Kestar’s Banner, pilot patches, a printed 80-page art book, a steel case and the Collector’s Edition box.
