Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →There is no verified PS6 launch procedure to follow from the official PlayStation information cited here. Those sources describe the DualSense wireless controller for PS5 and discuss controller use on PC; they do not establish a PS6, a “DualSense 2.0,” or compatibility between them. If you mean a supported PC game, check that game’s controller support and setup instructions instead.
Are PS6 and “DualSense 2.0” confirmed products?
The official PlayStation pages cited here identify DualSense as a wireless controller for PS5. They do not confirm a product called “DualSense 2.0,” a PS6, or a PS6 workflow for launching games. That means there are no substantiated button-by-button instructions for starting a PS6 game from such a controller.
This is a limit of the official information cited here, not proof that PlayStation could never announce those products. Until official details establish the hardware and its controls, instructions claiming a PS6 launch sequence would be speculation.
What the current DualSense controller does
PlayStation describes the PS5 DualSense’s adaptive triggers as able to vary force and tension in supported interactions. Its haptic feedback uses dual actuators in place of traditional rumble motors. Games can use these features, but their availability depends on the game.

#1 Best Overall
- Feel physically responsive feedback to your in-game actions through haptic feedback
- Experience varying levels of force and tension at your fingertips with adaptive triggers
- Chat online through the built-in microphone and connect a headset directly through the 3.5mm jack
- Switch voice capture on and off using the dedicated mute button
- Play on more devices using the USB Type-C cable or Bluetooth to connect easily to Windows PC and Mac computers, Android and iOS mobile phones as well as your PlayStation 5
PlayStation also says the controller can connect to PC, Mac, and mobile devices. A connection does not by itself establish that a game supports the controller, or that its haptics and adaptive triggers will work in that game. See PlayStation’s DualSense product information.
How to check controller support for a PC game
- Check the game’s Steam listing. PlayStation’s PC gaming guidance points to Steam’s “Full Controller Support” and “Partial Controller Support” labels. Check the specific title rather than assuming support from the controller’s ability to connect.
- Read the game’s own setup instructions. Follow its directions for connecting a controller or selecting it in the game. The exact process can vary by title.
- Verify the features you want. Controller support does not guarantee that a game uses DualSense haptics or adaptive triggers. PlayStation says PC support varies by game; its list of PC titles with DualSense features gives title-specific examples, not evidence of PS6 compatibility.
For the current guidance, see PlayStation gaming on PC and PlayStation’s PC accessories page.

If you mean a PS5 game
The documented product is the PS5 DualSense wireless controller. The official excerpts cited here do not specify a procedure for launching a game with its PS button, so they are not enough to give reliable button-by-button launch directions. Use the instructions for your PS5 and the particular game rather than treating “DualSense 2.0” as a confirmed controller model.
