Confirm the clock and complete this sequence three times. After entering the area, solve its separate Mythological Clock by selecting the Orange Helmet for “Goddess of War.”
Reach the Ethereal Abyss and prepare
The underwater entrance to the Ethereal Abyss is reported near X -4107, Y -603, Z 1823. Guides recommend taking Advanced Diving Gear and flippers for underwater travel. These are in-game items; the puzzle does not establish any real-world purchase requirement.
You need a second player for the trial, with one person in each of the two rooms. Before starting, agree on a quick way to call out the symbols shown on the clock. A voice chat or headset may make coordination easier, but neither is required by the puzzle instructions.
Complete the three-round button-and-clock trial
1. Split into the left and right rooms
Assign one player to find buttons in the left room and the other to operate the clock in the right room. It helps to give the search role to the player who can scan quickly and the clock role to the player who can identify and select symbols accurately.

2. Activate three buttons and call out the symbols
The left-room player should search the walls, floor, and ceiling for glowing buttons, then activate three. Button locations can be randomized, so do not rely on a fixed route. As each button is activated, communicate which symbol lights up on the clock.
3. Match the clock and confirm
The right-room player should move the three clock hands onto the three symbols that lit up, then press the red button at the base of the clock. The guides describe the order of the hands as unimportant; the important part is matching all three illuminated symbols and confirming.

4. Repeat until the door opens
Repeat the button-and-clock exchange until you have completed three successful rounds in total. The door opens after the third round, allowing you to pass through.
Handle the timer without relying on an exact countdown
Guides describe a time limit after the doors close, but their accounts differ about the precise countdown and what happens when time runs out. Treat the sequence as time-sensitive: call out symbols promptly, search efficiently, and be ready to retry if a round fails. Do not count on one particular failure penalty or an exact timer duration.
