Use your strongest practical damage dealer as the first investment target: the aim is to improve the hero doing most of your team’s damage, rather than trying to develop every available hero equally. Keep the idle resource loop moving

That rule applies to the event described on that page; it does not establish that current upgrades, hero choices, or investments are irreversible, or that a reset option exists. Read the confirmation text in the current game before committing to a choice.
