When does Star Wars: Galactic Racer come out, and which Xbox consoles support it?
The worldwide release is scheduled for October 6, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The Xbox listing identifies Series X|S support; it does not list Xbox One. StarWars.com’s announcement and the Xbox Store listing give the release and platform details.

What kind of racing game is it?
Fuse Games develops Galactic Racer, and Secret Mode publishes it. The publisher describes a runs-based racing adventure in an underground Galactic League that emerges after the Empire’s fall. You race varied craft, tune and customize vehicles, and progress through a solo campaign or compete in PvP. Secret Mode’s game page outlines the setting and premise.
Craft have different handling
The Xbox listing names landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders, and podracers. In an Xbox Wire hands-on preview, editor Mike Nelson described three chassis with distinct handling: landspeeders suited to drifting and endurance, speeder bikes that were faster in a straight line but more difficult to corner, and skim speeders that were challenging through hard-banking turns. The boost systems add risk and timing
Nelson’s preview also describes an Afterburner that recharges and a higher-risk Ramjet boost that can overheat. Treat these as the preview’s account of the systems, rather than a post-launch assessment.
How does the campaign work?
Xbox Wire’s preview describes the solo campaign as a runs-based Galactic Tour spanning three acts. Event sequences are randomized between runs, routes branch, and rewards can be applied to your craft. That structure suggests a campaign built around replaying tours and choosing routes, rather than simply repeating one fixed event sequence. The Xbox listing also pitches shifting alliances and strategic PvP grudge matches, but does not provide more detailed mode rules.

Does Galactic Racer have Xbox multiplayer?
Yes. The Xbox Store lists online multiplayer for 2–12 players and Xbox cross-platform multiplayer. Its current listing also says online console multiplayer requires Game Pass Essential, Premium, or Ultimate; check the live Xbox Store entry for current subscription terms before playing, since names and requirements can change.
Which editions are available, and what do they include?
At the time the US Xbox Store listing was checked for this guide, Standard was listed at $59.99 and Deluxe at $79.99. Secret Mode announced physical Standard and Deluxe editions for Xbox Series X|S, plus a Collector’s Edition. Its stated US suggested retail prices were $59.99, $79.99, and $159.99 respectively; those announcement prices are not a promise of current retailer pricing or availability.

Pre-order bonus
Official materials describe a repulsorcraft livery and multiplayer player banner as pre-order bonus items. They also say bonus content may be sold later, so the announcement does not establish that pre-ordering is the only way to obtain them. Confirm the terms on the live store listing before purchase.
What is the Xbox age rating?
The Xbox Store listing gives the game an ESRB Everyone 10+ rating, with Fantasy Violence and Language content descriptors. The same listing carries in-game purchases and users interact labels. This is the rating shown on the Xbox listing at the time checked; Secret Mode’s April 30 announcement had described the rating as pending.

The official materials reviewed confirm Xbox Series X|S support, but do not state Xbox Series X-specific resolution, frame rate, or graphics modes. That means there is not enough official information here to say whether the game targets 60 fps, offers a performance mode, or uses a particular resolution on Series X. Trailers and specifications for other platforms do not answer those Xbox-specific questions.
