Treat it as a practical lookup rather than a confirmed complete list: official sources document later updates and upcoming content, but do not certify the database’s coverage of them.
How to use the Pokémon Legends: Z-A item list
- Open the Serebii item reference.
- Find the item by name, then read its description to identify its function.
- Check the acquisition or location entry for the stated route, such as a Wild Zone or a Lumiose district. Keep the listed place name exact when following location-specific directions.
The reference is most useful as a name-and-location lookup. Its entries provide item descriptions and acquisition information; they should not be read as independently verified claims about whether a route can be repeated or whether an item is available in every game edition.
Does the list cover every item and DLC?
Completeness depends on which release and update content you mean. The official Pokémon site describes the game’s setting as Lumiose City and identifies a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension bundle scheduled for October 29, 2026. As of October 4, 2026, that release date is still in the future. The official Japanese product lineup separately lists Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, and the Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension product.
There has also been post-launch updating: the official Japanese news index lists a Pokémon Legends: Z-A version 2.0.2 update announcement dated March 19, 2026. Those official announcements establish that the game has updates and additional content in its release timeline; they do not establish that Serebii’s item reference includes every item associated with those updates or Mega Dimension. Check the reference for a specific item, but avoid treating it as a guaranteed exhaustive catalog across versions.

- Join Team MZ and the Mega Evolution Successor, Korrina, to investigate Hyperspace Lumiose, the otherworldly home to rare and hyper-strong Pokémon
- Discover new Mega Evolutions such as Mega Raichu X, Mega Raichu Y, Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur

Check edition and time-limited item details
When an item’s availability matters, distinguish the base game from the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and content associated with Mega Dimension, and note when a list was checked. A page can be useful for finding a named item while still leaving its edition or latest-update coverage uncertain.
Promotions also have their own dates. The official Japanese early-purchase page says the download-version serial-code offer for 100 Poké Balls was available through February 28, 2026. That period has passed, so it should not be treated as a current way to obtain the item.
