The latest official US catalog extracts reviewed for this update do not show either named product, but that absence does not prove the items are unavailable. Check the exact product page for your region before treating the stock drop as open or sold out.
What PS Direct’s listings show
On October 4, 2026, the available PlayStation Direct US catalog information showed current PS5 products, accessories and limited-edition controllers, but did not identify the 30th Anniversary Slim console or controller. The US home catalog and latest products page are useful places to check, but catalog search extracts are not a real-time inventory guarantee. Their reported crawl dates—two days earlier for the home page and one day earlier for the latest page—do not establish what is purchasable now.
The UK PlayStation Direct storefront is a separate regional check; its listing information also does not confirm a 30th Anniversary restock. A US or UK result says nothing definitive about stock in another country.
How to verify a live restock
- Open the PlayStation Direct storefront for your country, then search for the exact product name: PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Edition or 30th Anniversary DualSense.
- Open the product’s own page. A general mention in a catalog is not enough; look for a purchase option and the displayed stock status.
- Confirm the edition is the 30th Anniversary item, not a standard PS5 Slim or a different limited-edition controller.
- Record the territory, displayed price, any purchase limit and the time checked. Availability can change, so refresh the product page before placing an order.
If the exact product page is absent or does not offer a purchase action, the safest description is that availability is unconfirmed—not that the item is definitively sold out.

Do not confuse current listings with anniversary stock
The US latest page lists other products, including $84 DualSense limited editions and a $649 Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow PS5 Digital Edition bundle. Those are the prices of those specific listed products, not prices for either 30th Anniversary item. No 30th Anniversary price is established by the available listing information.
The current US PS5 console page describes a 1 TB CFI-2100 model group (slim) console with one DualSense controller in the box. It also says CFI-2100 models are compatible with CFI-2000 accessories, including console covers. These details apply to the current console listing; they do not establish specifications or compatibility for a distinct anniversary SKU. Check the exact anniversary product page before relying on them.

Alternatives while you check
If you need a controller rather than the anniversary collectible, browse the US DualSense controller catalog for other colors and editions. These are different products, not substitutes for the 30th Anniversary design. Current console and accessory listings are also available through the PS5 accessories catalog; verify compatibility on each item’s product page, particularly for console covers, stands, disc drives and storage.
