A new all-in-one Pokémon Legends: Z-A package for Nintendo Switch 2 is scheduled for October 29, 2026. It puts the Switch 2 Edition and the Mega Dimension DLC together on one game card. The Japanese listing sets a suggested price of ¥11,128 including tax; pricing and pre-order availability elsewhere have not been established by the cited official sources.
What is the new Pokémon Legends: Z-A bundle?
The Pokémon Company announced on September 30, 2026 that Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension is scheduled to release on Thursday, October 29, 2026. The announcement describes it as a package containing the entire story. Read The Pokémon Company’s announcement.
The Japanese product listing identifies it as packaged software for Nintendo Switch 2. Both the Switch 2 Edition and the paid Mega Dimension DLC are included on one game card. The listing says the content is the same as purchasing the Switch 2 Edition and DLC separately. See the official Japanese product listing.
Bundle versus buying the game and DLC separately
| Option | What it includes | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| 2026 all-in-one physical package | Switch 2 Edition and Mega Dimension DLC on one game card | Players who want both together in a physical Switch 2 release |
| Separate purchases | Switch 2 Edition and the DLC purchased separately; the Japanese listing says the game content is the same as in the bundle | Players who already own the Switch 2 Edition or prefer to buy the DLC separately |
If you already own the Switch 2 Edition, the Japanese product listing directs you to purchase the standalone DLC rather than the combined package. Mega Dimension is also available through Nintendo eShop on both Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, and through Nintendo Store. It works with the original game and the Switch 2 Edition, but you need a copy of Pokémon Legends: Z-A to play it. Check Nintendo Support’s DLC information.

Price and pre-order availability
The official Japanese listing gives the all-in-one package a suggested retail price of ¥11,128 including tax. That is a Japan-specific price, not a confirmed price for other markets.
The available official sources establish the scheduled release date, but not a regional pre-order opening date, retailer stock, or prices outside Japan. Whether the bundle can be pre-ordered therefore depends on the local official store or retailer; the October 29 release date does not mean pre-orders are currently open in every region.

Do earlier pre-order dates or bonuses apply?
No. The original game and Switch 2 Edition launched on October 16, 2025. On the Japanese listing, digital pre-orders for those editions began June 5, 2025, and packaged pre-orders began July 23, 2025. Those dates concern the original editions, not the 2026 all-in-one package.
Nintendo UK’s July 1, 2025 article described a Partner Pokémon figurine bonus and physical bundles themed around Mega Evolution, Trainers and Champion’s Choice. Those were UK and Ireland offers for the earlier pre-order period, with bonus items limited and subject to availability—not confirmation of current bonuses for the new bundle.
