How to create and run a macro
- Open the Skill screen. Look for the Macro area or button.
- Add the skills you want to try. Arrange the entries in the order you want them attempted, then save the macro.
- Bind the Macro action. Open Settings → Key Settings → General → Gameplay and assign a key or mouse button to the in-game Macro action. Creating a sequence does not bind it automatically.
- Test the input safely. Try the bound key in a low-risk setting and check that the game responds as expected. One third-party guide suggests a training dummy; this is a practical suggestion, not a guarantee of behavior.
Third-party setup guides describe holding the bound input to run the sequence. A mouse button is one possible binding, not a requirement.
If the macro does nothing
- Check that the in-game Macro action has a key or mouse-button binding in the Gameplay key settings.
- Confirm that the macro was saved in the Skill screen’s Macro area.
- Verify the current menu names and input behavior in your client; the available setup guides are not an official Global-client manual.
What to expect from the sequence
Third-party guides describe the macro trying its entries in order, cycling through the chain, and skipping skills that are unavailable. Treat that as reported behavior rather than an official guarantee for every current client or situation.
Exact current Global-client entry limits, delay settings, and queue rules are not established by the available sources. Avoid relying on numerical limits or timing claims from unverified guides.

Does using a macro risk a ban?
NCSOFT’s January 28, 2026 announcement describes measures against botting and unauthorized automation. It says the minimum level required for gathering was raised to level 45 to further limit automated gathering macros. This confirms action aimed at automated gathering; it does not spell out a complete rule for every external mouse or keyboard feature.
The setup described above uses the game’s built-in macro and normal keybinding options. The announcement does not establish that external scripts, repeating macros, or mouse/keyboard automation are safe or officially approved. Do not use those tools to automate gameplay unless NCSOFT’s applicable rules explicitly allow the behavior.

Do you need special hardware?
No. Assign a regular key if that is comfortable. A mouse button can be used as a convenient alternative when the client accepts it as a normal input, but no purchase or external macro software is needed for the in-game setup.
