What it is

Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo is a single-player graphic adventure built around a psychological investigation. After writer Ed Miller survives a car crash in Brody Canyon, California, he insists his wife and daughter were with him, though no one was found in the wreckage. Traumatized and suffering from severe vertigo, he begins therapy and tries to uncover what happened. The story is told through three characters, each with a different account, and moves across several timelines as the player compares events and memories. Its themes include obsession, manipulation and madness, and its thriller approach draws inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo and the wider Hitchcock universe. Pendulo Studios developed the game, and Microids published it. Steam lists achievements, full controller support and Family Sharing. The listed Steam platform is Windows; the game’s platform listing also includes macOS and Xbox Series X and Series S.
