Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey DX is Gust Co. Ltd.'s 2021 Windows RPG and the second instalment in the Atelier Mysterious series. Firis dreams of traveling beyond her town; after encountering alchemy, she sets out with Sophie and Plachta and learns alchemy from Sophie. She has a year to prepare for an official certification exam by practicing, completing tasks, and collecting recommendation letters from licensed alchemists in the places she visits. The DX edition adds four vehicles or exploration tools, a quest involving seven new monsters and a powered-up Palmyra, a fast-forward battle feature, previously released DLC, and photo mode. Steam lists single-player, achievements, gamepad recommendation, partial controller support, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing. The English version includes English voice, though some events are noted as an exception. The title is also available in a discounted trilogy pack with two other DX games, so check for duplicate purchases.
