Autonauts

What it is

Autonauts is a colony-building sandbox game from Denki about setting up a settlement and automating its work with programmable workerbots. Begin on an uninhabited planet by gathering materials and crafting basic items from blueprints. Then create bots and teach them tasks using a visual programming language, so they can help develop agriculture, industry and the colony. You can expand by creating colonists, whose needs include fishing, cooking, housing and tailoring. The Fully Automated update adds Settlement Mode, which challenges players to build a metropolis with 300 bots, along with more bot scripting abilities, a Bot Database for sharing code, upgraded storage transporters and a Signs Tab. Steam features include single-player, achievements, Workshop, Steam Cloud, a level editor and Family Sharing. Steam lists Windows; the broader platform list also includes Xbox Series X and Series S. The game was released on October 17, 2019.
