What it is
Bit.Trip Fate is an action and indie game by Choice Provisions, and the penultimate chapter in the six-part BIT.TRIP series. Players control CommanderVideo with the arrow keys while aiming shots anywhere on screen with a mouse; a controller can instead be used for dual-stick shooting. Power-ups let you bring in CommanderVideo’s friends to improve your shots. The game adds Easy and Hard difficulty modes, and its soundtrack draws on chiptune and dubstep. Super Meat Boy and Mr. Robotube appear in the game worlds, while chipmusic artist Minusbaby has a guest appearance. The story follows CommanderVideo’s mission. Steam features include single-player, full controller support, trading cards, and Family Sharing. It is listed for Windows and macOS.
