What it is
Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 is a first-person tactical shooter from Gearbox Software, set during the airborne drop before the Normandy invasion. You play as Sgt. Matt Baker, whose 101st Airborne squad has been scattered across the French countryside. The story puts mission success alongside the lives of the soldiers under Baker’s command. Its squad controls let you direct allies using fire-and-maneuver tactics, while battles take place across historically recreated settings and equipment. The game follows an eight-day campaign and features more than 20 characters with distinct personalities and appearances. Alongside its single-player mode, it includes multiplayer battles in which players command three-man AI teams to complete objectives. Steam lists single-player and Family Sharing, and the Steam version is for Windows. The game was developed by Gearbox Software and published by Ubisoft; it is also listed for Wii and macOS.
