What it is
Crusaders: Thy Kingdom Come is a strategy game from NeocoreGames, released for Windows in 2009. It follows a mission-by-mission campaign during the First Crusade, through the perspective of a chosen knight trying to gain rank and power on the journey from Constantinople to Jerusalem. Players can select from five heroes representing different nations of medieval Europe. Each has distinct skills and starting resources, and the focus character gains experience and becomes stronger over the course of the campaign. Those differences shape the tactics available in battles and give players reasons to approach another playthrough differently. The game describes battles across varied terrain, including forests and rocky deserts, where hills, valleys and slopes affect the battlefield. Steam lists single-player and multiplayer, as well as Family Sharing. NeocoreGames developed the game and Paradox Interactive published it. Its Steam release date is October 8, 2009.
