Danmaku Amanojaku ~ Impossible Spell Card
By Team Shanghai Alice, released 1 Jan 2014
- Microsoft Windows
What it is
Danmaku Amanojaku ~ Impossible Spell Card is a single-player shoot ’em up from Team Shanghai Alice. You play as Seija, pursued by yokai after her attempt to overturn Gensokyo’s society. The game is organized into short scenes: choose a day and then a scene, and defeat the opponent by reducing their health to zero. Getting hit by enemy bullets means restarting that scene. Seija relies on unusual items, which players choose to match the patterns of each barrage; equipment can change how a scene plays. Clearing scenes opens access to later days, and cleared scenes contribute to item experience. Some scenes also have dialogue that can reappear on repeat attempts under a particular equipment condition. Steam lists single-player, partial controller support, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing. The game is published by Mediascape and listed for Windows, with Action and Indie tags on Steam.

Who it suits
It suits players who enjoy short bullet-hell challenges and experimenting with equipment choices. The scene-based progression may appeal to players who like retrying stages with different tools.
Impossible Spell Card builds its progression around brief, replayable bullet-hell scenes and item selection. It is a fit for players willing to retry encounters and adjust equipment to the barrage.
