What it is

Dementium II is a first-person survival horror game about William Redmoor trying to escape Bright Dawn Treatment Center. The story unfolds through fractured, nightmarish memories as he pieces together what happened in a ward shaped by experiments. The game also brings the nightmare into Pelf Village, where ghostly creatures add to the danger.

Its play mixes action, story and puzzles. Different enemies call for different approaches, and multifunctional weapons can both fight threats and open access to new areas. The store description presents Dementium II HD as a rebuilt version of the handheld game, with updated visuals, lighting and refined controls. Steam features include single-player, achievements, full controller support, trading cards, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. Renegade Kid developed the game; Missing Link Games published it. Listed platforms include Windows, macOS and Nintendo DS, while the Steam listing specifies Windows.
