What it is
Dominions 5 - Warriors of the Faith is Illwinter Game Design’s turn-based 4X strategy game, available on Windows, macOS and Linux. Players rule a nation as a pretender god and aim to become Pantokrator by defeating rivals. You choose a god, from a mage to a titan or monument, and define how your dominion shapes your lands, followers and sacred soldiers. If your dominion dies, so do you. Victory comes through conquering enemy lands, extinguishing their dominion or claiming the Thrones of Ascension. The game offers a large variety of spells and units. Its battles use simultaneous movement for participating units, and a god’s bless effects can be customized in detail. Steam lists single-player, multiplayer, PvP and co-op, with online and shared/split-screen options, as well as cross-platform multiplayer. It is also listed as supporting Windows, macOS and Linux.
