ELEX is an action role-playing game by Piranha Bytes, set in the post-apocalyptic science-fantasy world of Magalan. A powerful resource gives people magic-like abilities but can also make them cold and indifferent; players face a conflict between emotion and humanity on one side and synthetic logic on the other. The setting features original characters and mutated creatures. Its open world is described as seamless, without borders or loading zones, and a jetpack allows vertical exploration.
