What it is
Final Fantasy VII is a single-player role-playing game from Square, set in Midgar, where Shinra Inc. controls the city and draws energy from the planet. After AVALANCHE attacks the No. 1 Mako Reactor, Cloud—a former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER force—becomes part of the struggle against the corporation. The story centers on whether Cloud and AVALANCHE can protect the planet from Shinra. This PC release adds online features to the RPG, including 36 achievements and cloud saves, which let players continue progress on another computer. Saves can be transferred among up to three computers at a time, and cloud saving requires an internet connection. A Character Booster can raise HP, MP and Gil to their maximum levels. The game is listed for Windows and supports full controllers, with DualShock support and gamepad recommendation. Steam features also include Remote Play on phone and tablet, plus Family Sharing.
