What it is

Green Hell is Creepy Jar’s open-world survival game set in the uncharted Amazon jungle, released in 2019 for Windows. Survival depends on crafting tools, hunting, gathering resources, fighting dangers and treating wounds through an inspection mode. You also monitor mental health while building anything from a simple shelter to a fortress. The game can be played alone or with friends through multiplayer co-op and online co-op. Its story follows anthropologist Jake Higgins as he searches for his missing wife, Mia, in a campaign described as lasting more than 25 hours. A Spirits of Amazonia prequel campaign adds more than 20 hours, while Endless Mode focuses on survival without the story. Steam lists Achievements, Trading Cards, adjustable text size, camera comfort, custom volume controls and adjustable difficulty. Green Hell is also available on Xbox Series X and Series S, and its listed Metacritic score is 78.
