What it is
Guilty Gear 2: Overture is a 2007 action-adventure game from Arc System Works that combines real-time strategy with 3D battle action. You control a Master who fights directly on the battlefield while commanding troops. Battles can shift between army warfare and sudden-death duels between Masters. The Master can dash, chain attacks, use aerial dashes and special attacks, and release Overdrives after charging a tension gauge. More than 50 units have their own actions and abilities, while commanders advance with units and capture enemy bases. Modes include Campaign, Exhibition, Training, FreeMission, Option, Replay Viewer, and Online. The listed online mode currently supports Player Match; Rank Match and Rankings are noted as planned later. Steam features include single-player, multiplayer, PvP, online PvP, shared or split-screen play, achievements, controller support, Trading Cards, and Cloud.
