What it is
Inversion is a third-person shooter from Saber Interactive, released in 2012. It follows Davis Russell, a father and police officer whose city is invaded and whose daughter goes missing. He and his partner Leo Delgado use a Gravlink device to alter gravity, changing how they move, shoot and interact with targets. Gravity can be increased or reduced, enemies can be floated into range, and objects such as cars can be used as cover. Environments are destructible, letting players break enemy cover or bring down overhead objects. The game can be played solo or in co-op, and it also includes competitive multiplayer for up to 11 friends. Steam lists single-player, multiplayer and co-op, along with captions and partial controller support. Inversion is available on Windows and PlayStation 3; Steam lists Windows.
