What it is

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a single-player action adventure from Ryu ga Gotoku Studio, starring Goro Majima as an ex-yakuza who becomes a pirate after losing his memory. Shipwrecked on a Pacific island, he sets out with Noah, the boy who saved him, to find clues about his past and pursue a legendary treasure. The story moves between land and sea, with combat against criminals and modern-day pirates.

Players assemble a crew and upgrade a ship while exploring open waters and visiting hidden islands for loot. Sea encounters can turn into real-time cannon battles: maneuver around incoming fire, damage enemy ships, then board and fight their crews and captains. On land, Majima can switch between Mad Dog and Sea Dog fighting styles. The Windows release is single-player and includes Steam achievements, full controller support, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. It also lists DualShock and DualSense controller support, as well as Steam Trading Cards.
