What it is

Luxor: Quest for the Afterlife is a 2008 action-puzzle game from MumboJumbo, set on a journey from Egypt along the Silk Road. When Queen Nefertiti’s sacred artifacts are stolen, her spirit calls on the player to recover them. The adventure passes through 18 cities across six regions, including Persia, Syria and India, as players pursue the thieves and collect artifact pieces.

Its Adventure Mode contains 100 levels. Players use the falcon-wing shooter of Horus to battle approaching enemies, and can choose their route through the journey. An all-new Battle Mode adds competition against enemies, including hunts for their leaders and valuable artifacts. Artifact pieces can be assembled to improve abilities during the campaign, and an in-game store offers upgrades such as ball and shooter sets. The game also has vivid widescreen-supported backgrounds. It is listed for Windows and supports single-player play and Family Sharing.
