What it is
Mars Horizon is a strategy simulation about leading a space agency from the start of the space age toward a crewed Mars landing. You build an agency base with facilities such as launch pads, research labs, and astronaut training centers, then design vehicles from hundreds of combinations. Missions send satellites and crewed spacecraft across the Solar System, while turn-based mission control challenges can earn scientific progress and public support. You can recreate missions associated with NASA, ESA, and CNSA, explore a technology tree, and compete or collaborate with other agencies. Five agencies have distinct traits, bases, vehicles, and spacecraft. A customizable Sandbox Mode offers unrestricted building. The single-player game includes adjustable difficulty, save-anytime support, and settings for accessibility and comfort. Developed and published by Auroch Digital, it released for Windows and macOS on November 17, 2020.
