What it is
Planet Explorers is an open-world sandbox adventure RPG from Pathea Games, set on the distant planet Maria after a colony ship crashes there in 2287. Survivors must explore, gather resources, build and create, and find ways to establish a home. The game combines action, adventure, role-playing, simulation and indie elements, with terrain that can be changed using a voxel system. Players can also make objects such as weapons and vehicles. Its single-player options include a story mode with missions, characters, colony building, farming, training and diplomacy. The story can be pursued or set aside while players focus on sustaining colonists and dealing with local life. Steam features include Workshop support, Trading Cards, Family Sharing and partial controller support. Planet Explorers is listed for Windows, macOS and Linux, and is free to play.
