What it is

Pyre is a party-based RPG from Supergiant Games about leading a group of exiles through mystical competitions in the Downside. The campaign follows their effort to regain freedom, with each victory or defeat moving their journey forward rather than ending it. For each three-on-three Rite, players choose three party members and equip them with Talismans and Masteries. The branching narrative changes with the course of play. Pyre also includes a local two-player Versus mode, where a friend or CPU opponent can take part in ritual showdowns using a team selected from more than 20 characters. Steam lists single-player, multiplayer, PvP, shared or split-screen PvP, full controller support, captions, Steam Cloud, and Remote Play on Phone. Its listed platforms are Windows, macOS, and Linux. The release date is July 25, 2017.
