What it is
Rock of Ages is an action and strategy game developed by ACE Team and published by SEGA. Two castles face each other: you steer a giant boulder toward the enemy castle while building defenses to stop the opposing boulder. The game mixes rolling attacks with defensive units that can protect your tower or knock the rival boulder off course. Its three modes are War, Time Trial and SkeeBoulder. The presentation draws on five historical periods for its art and music, and the original soundtrack is included with the game download. Steam lists single-player, multiplayer, online PvP, shared-screen PvP and co-op, alongside achievements and trading cards. Controller support is partial. The game is available on Windows through Steam, while the listed platforms also include PlayStation 3. It was released on September 7, 2011.
