What it is

Rogue Stormers is a run-and-gun platform shooter with roguelike and RPG elements, developed and published by Black Forest Games. It is set in Ravensdale, a medieval city whose people become monsters after discovering an energy-providing substance called goop. Players lead a group of knights through seven increasingly challenging levels to face the threat to the city. The game supports solo play and co-op for up to four players, including online and couch co-op. A run starts over after a death, while earned perks remain and help a character grow stronger over later raids. Levels combine chunks with enemies, hazards and loot, and different weapons and upgrades shape each session. Five unlockable character classes each have their own skills and base weapon. Steam features include achievements, full controller support, trading cards and Remote Play on TV. It is listed for Windows and Linux, with both platforms named in its Steam listing.
