What it is
Samogonki, also called Spanking Runners, is an arcade racing game from K-D Lab, reissued digitally from its 2001 release. Races take place on small moons of the SamoG planet, where characters compete for Samogian water and try to save a world threatened by robots. Players choose a character and assemble mechos from unusual spells. The game features several worlds with multiple tracks, spherical planet courses and spell-weapons that can call down lightning or crush rivals with giant spheres. It also has a turn-based racing mode, where players plan each move rather than relying solely on real-time racing. Steam lists single-player, multiplayer, PvP, shared or split-screen play and Remote Play Together. The game is available for Windows, macOS and Linux; its Steam release date is May 14, 2024.
