What it is

Sayonara Umihara Kawase is an action puzzle platformer from Studio Saizensen, built around moving with an elastic rope and fishing lure. Players hook the lure onto walls, then use the rope’s recoil to climb or swing across gaps. The game continues the Umihara Kawase series, which began with a Super Famicom release in 1994 and continued with Umihara Kawase Shun on PlayStation in 1997. The Steam version was made by the original development team, with staff responsible for game design, programming, character design and sound. It is a single-player game with Steam achievements, full controller support, trading cards, Workshop, Cloud and leaderboards. Family Sharing is also supported. The listed platforms are Windows and Nintendo 3DS; Steam lists Windows.
