What it is
Silent Storm: Sentinels is a Nival standalone add-on to the turn-based tactical game Silent Storm. Set in the years after the war, it follows veteran operatives who form a secret mercenary group to confront the revived threat of Thor’s Hammer. Missions take place in settings including deserts, abandoned mines and industrial vaults, where the unsupported Sentinels must acquire their own weapons and equipment. The add-on introduces weapons, a reliability system in which equipment can break down or jam, and objectives such as infiltration, demolition and murder. It also adds mercenaries, adjusts gameplay complexity and describes improved enemy AI that acts with greater efficiency and caution. This is a single-player tactical role-playing and strategy game for Windows, with Family Sharing available. Its focus is on covert operations and managing risk in combat rather than supported government action.

Who it suits
It suits solo players who enjoy turn-based tactical combat, covert missions and managing weapon reliability. Players interested in a standalone add-on to Silent Storm may find its new objectives and mercenaries relevant.
Sentinels builds on Silent Storm with a postwar covert-operations story and new tactical systems. Its weapon failures and mission objectives make equipment and approach central considerations.
