What it is
The Surge 2 is an action role-playing game from Deck13 Interactive set in the devastated Jericho City. After a mysterious storm brings down a plane, the player wakes weeks later in a detention facility as martial law, rampaging robots and a growing nanostorm threaten survival. Combat focuses on melee fights against dangerous enemies and colossal bosses. Players can cut off parts of opponents to take equipment, then build a character using weapons, armor, abilities, implants and drones. The game describes its world as larger and more varied than before, with secrets to uncover across the city. It is single-player and available for Windows. Steam features include achievements, controller and DualShock support, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing and Remote Play on phone, tablet and TV. Focus Entertainment publishes the game.
