What it is
The Talos Principle VR is Croteam’s virtual reality puzzle adventure, set in a world of ancient ruins and advanced technology. A creator tasks you with solving increasingly complex puzzles, while the story raises questions about identity, purpose and belief. The non-linear world lets you choose your own route through its challenges. Use your hands to redirect drones, manipulate laser beams and replicate time as you work through puzzles. Movement options include teleportation, instant and blink teleport, and full locomotion, with or without comfort mode; roomscale support lets you explore the environment around you. The Road to Gehenna expansion is included, adding a separate story across four episodes with advanced puzzles. The Talos Principle VR is single-player and VR-only, with tracked controller support, Steam achievements, Steam Workshop, Steam Cloud and a level editor. It was developed by Croteam and published by Devolver Digital and Croteam Publishing. The game released in 2017 for Windows and Linux.
