What it is
Toki Tori 2 is a puzzle adventure from Two Tribes set on a forest island, where a young chicken must help destroy a floating crystal. Players have only two basic moves, whistling and stomping, and use them to observe and manipulate the island’s creatures while working out how to progress. Its Metroidvania-style structure is built around exploration, experimentation and knowledge rather than a fixed route. Players can find Ancient Frogs, use songs for abilities such as rewind and fast travel, and photograph creatures for the Tokidex. The game also includes a level editor, with level sharing through Steam Workshop, plus Steam Cloud, achievements, trading cards, controller support, Remote Play on TV and Family Sharing. It is listed for Windows, macOS and Linux on Steam, and also for Wii U. Its genres include puzzle, platformer, Metroidvania and Metroidbrainia.
