What it is
Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is a free-to-play battle royale game from Landfall Games, released in 2018 for Windows. Matches support up to 60 players, with solo, duo and squad modes. Players drop into a compact map and compete to be the last one standing, using more than 90 weapons, including deliberately odd options such as a balloon crossbow and inflatable hammer. Physics-based parkour gives movement a wobbly feel, while blessings and curses can affect players who perform well or poorly. A limbo state means being knocked out does not necessarily mean a player is finished. The game also includes short catchphrases, PvP and online multiplayer. Its Steam features list in-app purchases and Family Sharing. With action and indie tags alongside its free-to-play label, it centers on chaotic multiplayer battles rather than a grounded military simulation.
