What it is
Tyranny is a story-driven RPG from Obsidian Entertainment set in a realm already conquered by a despot. You play as a Fatebinder, an authority figure in the Overlord’s army, and decide whether to uphold the new order, reshape it or pursue your own ambitions. Choices affect the story and can change the layout of the world, while alliances and enemies shift according to the sides you take. Combat is tactical real-time with pause and party-based. The game’s setting explores law and morality from the position of a player who serves within the occupying regime. Tyranny is a single-player RPG for Windows, macOS and Linux. Steam features include achievements, trading cards, Steam Cloud, Remote Play on Tablet and Family Sharing.
