What it is

Valheim is a collaborative exploration and survival game from Iron Gate Studio, set in a procedurally generated afterlife inspired by Viking culture. It supports solo play and groups of up to 10 players, with co-op and online co-op listed. Players explore distinct biomes for resources, sail in search of new lands, craft equipment and fight regional bosses called the Forsaken. Progress depends on defeating these bosses. Building is another central activity: players can make shelters, villages or larger strongholds, with defense, structural integrity and comfort all part of construction. New materials unlock recipes for crafting, building and cooking. Food grants benefits based on what is eaten, and health and stamina matter in combat.
