What it is
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin is a real-time strategy game from Frontier Developments, set in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe. Players take the role of a warlord and command four factions in battles across the Realm of Ghur: Stormcast Eternals, Orruk Kruleboyz, Nighthaunt and Disciples of Tzeentch. Its campaign follows a conflict in the realm, while single-player Eternal Conquest sends players across procedurally generated wildlands toward a final enemy. Multiplayer includes 1v1 and 2v2 matches, with cross-platform play and options to include AI teammates or opponents; there is also a competitive 1v1 ladder and co-op play with a friend. Players can build and share maps, compete on community maps, paint armies and create dioramas. The game released in 2023 and is available for Windows and Xbox Series X|S. Steam lists single-player, multiplayer, PvP, online PvP and cross-platform multiplayer, along with achievements, trading cards, Steam Cloud, partial controller support and HDR availability.
