What it is
Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide is a co-operative action game that combines first-person shooting and melee combat in the End Times of Warhammer Fantasy. Fatshark sets it in and around Ubersreik, where Skaven have overrun the city. Players choose from five heroes, each with a different play style, abilities, gear and personality, and work together to survive the rat-men invasion. The game supports co-op for up to four players, with drop-in, drop-out multiplayer and AI bots to fill out a team. Each hero has a distinct weapon arsenal, with examples ranging from swords, axes and hammers to bows, guns and magical staves. Its described campaign spans 13 levels across varied environments. Steam lists single-player, multiplayer and online co-op, as well as achievements, captions, partial controller support, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing. Released in 2015, Vermintide is available for Windows.
