What it is
We Were Here Together is a co-op puzzle adventure from Total Mayhem Games, set around an Antarctic rescue mission and the mysterious Castle Rock. Two players begin at a research base after a distress flare signals trouble. Their route takes them through frozen terrain and into a medieval castle, where they become separated and must solve puzzles, uncover secrets and face dangers. Communication is central: each player has a walkie-talkie, and progress depends on describing and explaining what they observe. The game is explicitly co-op only, and its listed requirements include a working PC-compatible microphone and an internet connection for both players. Its Steam features include online co-op and cross-platform multiplayer, as well as achievements and controller support for DualShock and DualSense. Released on October 10, 2019, it is listed for Windows and macOS.
