What it is

When Ski Lifts Go Wrong is a construction puzzler and simulation from Hugecalf Studios, published by Curve Games. You build mountain facilities that carry passengers safely across more than 100 challenging levels, using structures such as chairlifts, gondolas, jumps, bridges and ramps. Rope tension, structural stresses and limited budgets shape each design, while cutting corners can create passenger disasters. Build Mode and Simulation Mode let you switch between construction and testing scenarios. After building, you can control riders in activities including snowboarding, skiing, motorbiking and pedaling across winter and summer environments. The game includes bonus objectives, online leaderboards, trophies and an included level editor. Steam features also list achievements, trading cards, Workshop, stats and Family Sharing. It is a single-player release for Windows and macOS, dated January 23, 2019, with a listed Metacritic score of 80.
