A single-player mode includes 32 campaign missions and 20 puzzle missions, and the game also supports multiplayer and co-op, including shared or split screen and Remote Play Together. Players can customize worms with items such as hats, glasses, moustaches and soundbanks, and create battle environments with the level editor. Matches take place across four settings: Beach, Sewer, Farmyard and Spooky. Listed platforms include Windows, macOS and several PlayStation systems, while the Steam platform listing is Windows.
