Match types include Steel Cage, Royal Rumble and Fatal Four Way, with interactive environments. The game also includes a story mode told through comic strips, following new characters as they join established WWE Superstars and unlock characters and Battlegrounds. Steam lists single-player and multiplayer options, including online PvP and co-op, as well as shared or split-screen play. The listed features also include cross-platform multiplayer.
