What it is
Yousei Daisensou ~ Touhou Sangetsusei is a single-player shoot 'em up starring Cirno, an ice fairy whose home has been destroyed. She sets out against the Three Fairies of Light, and the game’s central mechanic lets her freeze incoming enemy bullets with an Ice Barrier. Frozen bullets can break and disappear, and can also freeze nearby bullets, so positioning the barrier among dense patterns can clear more of the screen. Using it consumes ice power, which recovers over time and through actions such as hitting enemies, defeating weaker foes or grazing bullets. The amount of enemy fire frozen also increases shot strength and can raise its level. The game was developed by Team Shanghai Alice and published by Mediascape.
